Jingle Belles and Sketchy Thursdays are holding a joint challenge this week. Each blog is giving away one prize pack for the same card as long as you link it up to both posts. Here is my entry.

Valentines

I love Lettering Delights' Frogs and Kisses SVG set. I used it to make a few valentines this year.

For my boyfriend, I used a Ferro-Roche heart candy box I found at Walmart. He loves those candies. I used the top and bottom inserts as a template to trace the hearts then just glued on the frog and little heart that I cut using my Cricut. I also took out the plastic liner thing that holds the candies in place and stuffed it full of some other candies he really likes (I may have eaten a couple of the Ferro-Roches to make more room...shhh...).

For my mother and her husband I just made some simple cards. I tried to only use paper scraps from my massive box of scraps. Hurray for stash busters!

Outside...Mom's is on the left, husband on the right.

Inside...again, Mom on left, husband on right. I also used Lettering Delights' Delilah Tags for my mother's greeting, and an LD Oblong Frame for her husband.

I'll probably be posting some more cards later this week. We are going up to the boyfriends parents this weekend (yay horses!) and I want to make them some valentines too.

More ATCs

I love doing the ATC swaps on Craftster. They're generally quick and easy. They also give me a chance to play around with new techniques that I want to try.

The top one was a requested butterfly theme. The second theme was to create an ATC based on your favorite song without using words. The song I chose was "Songbird" by Oasis. Love that song! They're both very simple ATCs. I just used scrap paper, printed images and stamps. The butterfly antennae is some sort of cord that I glued on there.

ATC Minibook

This little book was made for K Andrew's Tim Holtz giveaway challenge. The idea was to make something inspired by Tim Holtz. I don't have any of his products yet, but I love his grungy style. I've been wanting to do a little stash buster project and thought this challenge was perfect. I went with a hearts/love theme since Valentine's Day is coming up soon. The book is ATC sized and bound with my Bind-It-All. The fibers on top are just yarn, rick rack, and some bakers string. I also attached key and lock charms that hang down the side.

A link

I just had to share this link from Michele Made Me. She made little heart photo frames out of tissue boxes. I think they'd look great with a magnet up on the fridge.
